AAUW Applications Now Open for Women in Southern Utah
For many years the American Association of University Women has worked to bring opportunity to women in Southern Utah through advocacy, philanthropic efforts, and education. Every year multiple scholarships are awarded to women in the Southern Utah area - these scholarships assist them in pursuing higher education and completing their degrees. In the past this scholarship has been available for those attending DSU or Dixie Tech, but this year through the collaborative efforts of Cherish Families and the American Association of University Women, the scholarship is now available for Utah students attending Mohave Community College. We are excited about the opportunity this brings to so many individuals in the communities we work with!

From the website: Scholarship applications are open to AAUW eSMART campers, previous winners, re-entering students, DSU and Mohave community college (Colorado city campus) women. Application consists of online form and essay, then an oral interview.
It's not a difficult process to apply. Rewards typically range from $500 to $3000.
